Magicians are widely known as powerful wielders of magic.
In truth, however, they rely on summoned spirit slaves, known as demons, who perform magic on their behalf.
Introduction[]
Welcome to the Wiki for the Occultism Minecraft mod. Here you can find supplementary information not covered in the in-game guide item (Dictionary of Spirits).
You are very welcome to make your own contributions and fill in missing or helpful information.
At this point the wiki is very minimal, as a lot of information can be found in the in-game guide. If you are lacking information about a topic, please ask about it in discord, and ideally, create a page here with the information given.
Getting Started[]
The first goal is to obtain the Dictionary of Spirits, an in-game guide with information about all spirits, rituals and pentacles, as well as an in-depth getting started guide.
Crafting the Dictionary.
- Obtain Demon's Dream Seeds by breaking grass. Keep one and plant a few others.
- Combine the seeds with a book to create the dictionary.
- Read the Getting Started section of the book to learn about the Third Eye, Demon's Dream, and Spiritfire.
- Make a stick of Chalk, clear out some floor space, and start drawing some Pentacles.
- Conduct your first ritual and meet a demon.
Other Tasks[]
Not sure what to do in the mod? Here are a few things you can try:
- Bind a demon into some lenses and construct a pair of Otherworld Goggles.
- Build a Dimensional Mineshaft and convince a Djinni to work for you.
- Construct a Dimensional Storage Actuator, some stabilizers, and call it from your cell phone.
- Hire a specialist to quadruple the yield of all your raw ore blocks.
- Make a new friend!
